Henry Hohauser
(1895 - 1963)  Arguably Miami Beach’s most important and certainly its most prolific early architect, Henry Hohauser was educated at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, and came to Florida in 1932 where he quickly established himself in the burgeoning ocean resort of Miami Beach. Though best known for his works in the Art Deco and Streamline Moderne styles, his impressive portfolio  also includes Mediterranean Revival projects.  Preview Hohauser's condo converted buildings by clicking any of the thumbnails to the right.
